Our second day of shooting took place once more in Lausanne, Switzerland. During these scenes the couple of the story got to know another more intimately over drinks which resulted in a lot of laughter, dancing and some intimate stargazing.

In late 2024 I met Azure over a coffee and she pitched me an idea she had to a music video. A story of two people going on a third date and the awkwardly wholesome moments one finds themselves in when the spark is mutual. Our first day of shooting was in in a studio in Nyon , Switzerland. We then we took to the streets of Lausanne, the Olympic Capital.

Summer has come to an end and to make sure it ends with a bang my mother celebrated her 60th birthday amongst her 60 friends. I brought an old digital camera along and got some shots of some well dressed folks, one of them being Elvis…?

Hazel is back with a new single, Attention. We headed back to the Swedish Archipelago’s fine forests to get some lonesome and very “in her feels” vibe. The photos and videos will match the reflective and pensive lyrics that Hazel has crafted.

Betti is a jazz singer with stories to tell, songs to sing and she does it with 0 competition. We went to a castle near Stockholm and spent the day shooting cover art for her various songs and some visuals to go along with them for her online marketing. Her songs are dreamy just as the vision she had for this project.

Awa and I are back in a new collaboration in which we will explore her musical journey. With the grande opening of Blique by Nobis’ garden in Stockholm she took the stage and debuted songs from her upcoming mixtape to which we are creating a visual world.

NEMO WINS EUROVISION
My friend and collaborator Nemo took on the Semi Final with breeze, then stole the show at the Finals of the Eurovision Song Contest. Immensely proud of them showcasing their valuable lyrics, unbeatable vocal talents and the lack of need for backup dancers, vocalists and gimmicks. Nemo, you made Switzerland and the world proud!

As Eurovision Song Contest rapidly approaches, the pressure is becoming more noticeable on my friend Nemo as they prepare to take the stage. Nemo kindly invited me to the Nordic pre-party where I snapped some photos of the various participants of the upcoming contest. Their talents and showmanship was on full display as they dominated the venue in their own unique ways.

With colors as bold and bright as their charisma, talent and style they bless this lonely elevator. Not only was content shot for The Code but an upcoming follow up to their Eurovision debut in an empty office full of endless corridors.

We’re currently in pre-production for a music video for Linus, in the process change has been needed. Lee buzzed his hair off in an attempt to find a new sense of self and invited me to document the process.

It’s been a slow month with many projects pushed back, out of nowhere Elma let’s me know that theres a new song coming and she got an idea for it. I brought my camcorder and regular camera and we shout a vertical teaser which showcases herself being all out of feelings at a birthday party. The year is coming to an end, you can feel it in the productivity in the community here in Stockholm. People are slowing down and enjoying their last moments of 2023. Unlike our previous projects, Elise and I also took a moment to slow down and make something more cozy and less flashy with the talented guitarist Oliver Krieg. We filmed one out of several live versions of her upcoming songs.

Finally, a directorial debut. This time I got to take the backseat on running a one man show and focus on directing. Together with Social Club and Epidemic Sound we created the promotional material for Mimmi Bangoura’s upcoming R&B single Envy You.
Sometimes we trauma dump on people that really don’t deserve the enormous luggage we come with, but in this film Mimmi had no problem doing that. Be kind to your service workers!

The song is out, Kamikaze continues to gain attraction on the radio and the streaming platforms. Linus and I are testing out a new flash from Godox to push more content on various platforms. We also found a massive truck in a forest… One of the lucky photos amongst the batch were selected as the cover art for the upcoming title Wolves, soon available on all streaming platforms!

A new collaboration stepped in the building, Social Club & Epidemic Sound. I photographed the talented guitarist Rebecca Mardal for her upcoming releases. When Rebecca was being photographed she made sure to all put us in a trance by playing melodies that sounded like they were created in another world, truly beautiful.

Creating this treatment felt like being back in film school, a tight deadline and immense determination. Social Club’s iconic Jesper Ericstam and I sat in the office from late afternoon until the early hours of the following morning. Shouting back and forth between different working spaces of what the perfect image could be to capture various ideas in the treatment. Needless to say, what we put in the treatment is exactly what got put in front of the camera and it seems the dairy company Skånemejerier was satisfied as it got picked up and shot.

Another more intimate shoot with Chelan with some projectors running displaying his greatest moments caught in camera. The song London captures Chelan’s love for his hometown dreading having to eventually leave it behind to gain greater opportunities.

Switzerland’s record holder of 200m sprint is back to deliver a powerful message about family, growing up and becoming yourself. Felix Svensson comes from a family of well established athletes which we dive deeper into than we previously have.

We knew we wanted to make something intimate once again similar to our first live version at Sous Neuf. This time we shot in Chelan’s garage, full of lamps, recording equipment and instruments. Like always Chelan leads his own band into recreating his upcoming song stuck with that.

Some of our obstacles are minor, and sometimes its a sudden opening in the clouds letting down 30cm of rain in 7 minutes causing the borrowed car to leak and drip on the camera and fog up all the windows. We did what we could with the sudden change of plans... But the song is great! Kodak by Chelan will be out within the year!

From one shoot to the next, my producer and I rushed from the shoot with Chelan on the boat to the finale of the Nyon based festival Paléo, the annual fireworks. Shooting handheld was no problem but I can’t say the same for those who flew their drones…

I think every creative has an addiction to their passion, but sometimes it bleeds into daily life too much. If i use my Sony camera I know i will be stuck for the whole evening tweaking the footage to look “cinematic” so for this summer I will use the antichrist of a cinematic camera… An old camcorder that shoots on HI8 film.

I had the honor to work alongside Social Club’s very own Nalle Sjöblad to develop our winning treatment for the company Riksbyggen which provides housing and co-operation facilities for the people of Sweden. Other than designing the treatment I did my first 2nd cameras assistant job since 2017 on the Oscar nominated film Gräns.
The commercials explore two various scenarios, a children’s party where they play Pictionary with tattooing equipment… The second scenario is an apartments association’s meeting having a little too much fun…

As the release has finally come around for Ida Fiona’s debut EP, the fresh tracks were played live at Nomad in Stockholm. The footage will be released in the form of a mini featurette about the EP and a release party event recap. Accompanied on stage there was SNOW and Nemo.
